The other day I go to the games cupboard, *insert witty comment here* and wondered what fun I would tempt myself with. First shut the box, then table top miniature table football. Then balderdash and finally to the game of all games, classic monopoly dust covered and lodged in place I tugged at it, and then it hit me. Right in the shin, not pleasant I'll tell you! - Sorry... Low level there...
So Tuesday night at 9.30 I revealed my plan to my family. We assembled, sat and at 1.30am we worked out the size of our business empires.
I won, a terrific victory, 2000 over my nearest rival, and since, I know how to be awesome at business, be persistent, set a lower limit of money and finally never show that you're in a panic. All symptoms of business failure.
Now, i know you'll be sitting there thinking I have no life and you'd beright wrong. If you;ve been really following me I have a friend OB. Good times... Anyway so i spent 4 hours playing monopoly because it's just an addictive game, you start with about 1700Moneys and depending how good you are can end up with about 4000Moneys. What is more exciting than taking money from people.
Unfortunately my strongest tactic of let them go bankrupt then buy out their properties didn't work all too well on my mum... She was resilient and ended up with the greens with hotels and me in debt to her. But i broke the bank and ended up with reds and yellows with hotels, money rolled in and out of her pocket. Bingo. I win.
How could you not enjoy that?
